ASSURED partners Heliox (the Netherlands), VDL Bus & Coach (the Netherlands) and Stadtwerke Osnabrück (Germany) have won prizes during the VDV (Association of German Transport Companies) Conference on Electric Buses and the accompanying trade fair ElekBu. The EBUS awards are awarded every two years to those who have contributed substantially to the development of electric public transport in Germany. The winners of the EBUS Awards are chosen by public transport companies participating in the VDV Conference.
While Heliox won the first prize in the category “Charging infrastructure”, VDL Bus & Coach bagged the prize in the category "Manufacturer of e-buses". In addition to the prizes for transport companies and industry, two representatives of the industry were honoured for their outstanding commitment this year in the "Personal e-mobility in public transport" category, including Stephan Rolfes from Osnabrück.
