ASSURED is happy to announce that its second demo launch, in Barcelona, will take place online on 18 March. Hosted by public transport operator TMB (Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona), the kick-off will demonstrate the interoperability between buses and chargers with panto-up technology in real operation, supported by the ASSURED 1.0 Interoperability Reference developed in the framework of the project.
For the demo, Jema, Heliox, ABB, VDL Bus & Coach and Irizar will display their buses and chargers, fully integrated into TMB operation. In Barcelona, TMB already runs Solaris and Irizar buses that are being charged with ASSURED chargers.
During the event, we'll hear from representatives of City Hall Barcelona, UITP (International Association of Public Transport), TMB among others.
